HOME: Tell Basta, Zagazig, Egypt
MOST LIKELY TO BE FOUND:
In his cabin enjoying a nap, communing with another realm.
...Or silently standing in the galley, expecting a third serving of salmon...
He does not beg, of course. It would be beneath him.

Spirit Walker
Noctis Blackflame
There comes a point in your life when reality becomes bigger than the model you were given. The moment you step into an abandoned place and the temperature drops eighteen degrees in an instant. A cold breeze brushes past in a room with no open windows. Every hair on your body rises. A high ringing fills your left ear for the first time in your life. You search for a logical explanation, because that is what you've been taught to do. But somewhere beneath reason, another part of you quietly asks a different question: What if I sensed something real?
There are things unseen that linger just beyond the edges of our perception. Whether they come with benevolent intent or darker purpose is not always easily known. That is where a Spirit Walker comes in.
Spirit Walkers are guardians of the thresholds between worlds, ensuring that what belongs may pass... and what does not is turned away. Noctis watches the quiet places where worlds brush against one another, waiting beside those he has chosen to protect. Should something cross a veil into a realm where it does not belong, the Claw of Ra answers. In that moment, Noctis stands between darkness and the living. without hesitation.

FAVORITE QUOTE:
My divinity does not lie in my capacity for destruction.
It lies in my ability to prevent it.
WHAT HE WOULD WANT YOU TO REMEMBER:
Do not seek recognition from others.
Find balance within yourself.
Then you will begin to discern illusion from reality, for what you see is rarely what it seems.

Spirit Walkers trace their lineage to the First Cats—those blessed by the Eye of Ra when the Great Cat stood beneath the Sacred Tree and defended Creation from the serpent of chaos. They inherited a fragment of that ancient sight, granting them the ability to perceive what humanity cannot: hidden doors, thinning veils, wandering spirits, forgotten pathways, and the countless realms that exist beside our own.
Out of love for Creation, it is said the gods folded fragments of their divine sight into the humble form of the cat, so that every home might have a silent guardian watching its threshold. Today, millions of cats still carry threads of the Eye of Ra within them.
Most remember only in whispers.
A rare few remember everything.
Descended from the sacred cats of Per-Bastet, Noctis carries an ancient guardianship in his blood. The Eye of Ra did not grant him immortality. Instead, it awakens whenever he chooses to stand between the living and what should never reach them.
Raised in Tell Basta, he was trained in the ancient ways of the guardian. When he reached maturity, tradition granted him a single choice: the threshold he would spend his life protecting.
Before he could choose a home, however, he discovered a tear between worlds that had widened enough to allow multiple demons to cross into the human realm. Alone, he held the threshold, refusing to yield, until the Uraeus Cobra could answer his call.
Le Chroí heard his heart and answered.
Gliding through the veil like divine justice, she drove back the invading force, rescued the wounded guardian, and sealed the tear behind her. From that day forward, Noctis chose Le Chroí, her crew, and her endless voyage between worlds as his home and his family.
Noctis does not seek violence and avoids it whenever possible. His power exists for one purpose alone: to protect the living.
Most will never know what he has prevented, nor will they ever know he was there. He seeks neither recognition nor power, only the preservation of balance.
Perhaps that is why Le Chroí heard his heart across realms... and answered.
Aboard Le Chroí, Noctis is far more than our protector.
He is our certainty that we do not unknowingly walk into places where we do not belong.
Where abandoned castles conceal forgotten thresholds, he finds them. Where ancient temples harbor spirits that have lingered too long, he sees them. Where sacred stones rest upon thinning veils between worlds, he is already watching before any of us realize we have crossed into dangerous ground.
His eyes perceive what ours cannot.
Through his quiet guidance, our expeditions have become more than journeys into history—they have become journeys into the hidden architecture of Creation itself, revealing that the world is far larger, stranger, and more alive than humanity has ever imagined.
